The Grunge band have finally returned with their new album after a 7 year wait! 2013’s Lightning Bolt offered some great moments to with Sirens, Getaway and Mind Your Manners but fell flat at points. Gigaton is a more solid record that does touch on the doom of the world and US politics, though it mainly sticks to the fragility of purpose and desire that comes with middle age. Seven O’Clock is a nice highlight that meanders through the state of the Trump Presidency and Dance of The Clairvoyance is a dark nod to Talking Heads.
