We now have a weekly post for music that BMTM wants to share! Ensuring everyone can get out here, this is place to find extra music that is not on the weekly single reviews. It's so amazing getting emails and messages from a whole variety of people with music they want to share (either their own or simply wanting to let me know about what they like).
So here is a new weekly update of what is surfacing around the world, that is waiting to be heard and is the start of something great for a songwriter or artist. Please share your own music or music you love for this whenever you can, please email: tom.bringmethemusic@gmail.com or direct message on instagram.
Em delivers a delightful piano based track, filled with delicate production that gives it that bedroom DIY quirk to it. Anyone who enjoys the laid back sound of the infamous Eilish, will for sure be fascinated with what this artist is doing!
The Southend band, who have a great collection of delightful indie pop tracks already, have added to the list again with this song. There are glistening guitar hooks and carefully placed synths here, which makes this song so chilled and a summery track that can be enjoyed by so many.
The opening pulls you in and then the distinct vocals that come along...woah... they leave you wanting even more. Within the meat of the song, the synths and guitars are beautiful and really show this acts love for 80's music. The lyrics seem to tackle the love and desire to be there for a friend right to the end, something that is really captured in the bass I find.
The sound of U.K. Alternative guitar music is probably the strongest it has been for a long time, the depth is shown as a band like The Lounge Society are showing off great talent so early on in the game. The guitars are cool and the dance element of this song is truly such fun! The band are unashamed with want they want to do and that is more punk than simply wanting to please.
What an opening?!! The seduction is incredible, Becki really knows how to deliver in such an epic but pure way with her vocals. I thought this was a Billie Eilish meets Wolf Alice affair, just think generally of their moods to get a picture of this song. The synths are done magically and structure of the song is impressive.
The band from Hull have a lovely ear for a tune, the gentle nature of the guitars are also very nice. The chorus delivers something that really gets into your brain, it's infectious with an element of class.
This took me back to some 60's songwriting style, the tone of this song also has an aroma of sophistication, which is impressive. It feels all very dreamy as the lovely melody floats around, while the guitars become louder to give it more of that dramatic vibe.
