The songwriting capabilities of Sarah Carton is mighty impressive, with the second single by the artist being assured and passionate. This indie electro single looks at mental health within relationships and the lyrics are constantly hitting you, with honesty and impressive intentions; 'that despair from wanting to help someone you love, but they’re not in a place to receive it', is a lyric that sets the tone of the song so well. The mellow but moody sounding synths are effective, really making us feel like we are in a place that is both intimate and introspective.

The essence of this new single by Artfair is joyous and so much fun!!! The indie guitars sound lovely in the verse and the rhythm section has such a chirpy feel to it, leaving you wanting to boogie away to this one. 'Simple Life' has a solid chorus that has a cool riff and a melody that is engaging and infectious. The band seem to be a talented group, with this current single being a great sign of what is possible for them!

How beautiful and mysterious is this opening?! ANIMAI offers us a really sparse and magical new single, filled with captivating and moody synth sounds. Vocally, the artist nails it with her presence feeling so strong and confident, her talents oozes out of this song so much. It feels like this song would be an outcome from if Lana Del Ray wanted to write for a Blade Runner film (an odd combination I know). You will be taken away somewhere tranquil and compelling when you listen to this avant-pop meets alt synth-pop single.

'Here Again' is a dramatic synth-pop song, with the artist offering her own spin on the sound and genre with such a force. Sofia's vocals are tremendous throughout, it feels like her singing can captivate you so easily and magically. The production on the song is effective, giving a great template of dark sounding synths, that allows the singer to take centre stage. Its hook is another strong aspect of the song, whenever it comes back it gets into your head even more!

Ohhhhh the riff and drumming in this, gets you rocking for sure! The band have given us something punchy and angsty, with some classic vocals that are inspired by 00's punk and a riff that leaves your eyes melting. The pulsing nature of the rhythm section stands out, allowing this song to rock as hard as it can be. For fans of Paramore and Green Day, this track and band will be right up your street!

This Glasgow indie band, are giving us a fresh interpretation of late 00's guitar music. There is a strong British presence in its influence but you also hear some Strokes touches to its fundamentals, leaving it to be this impressive and fun single! The songs chorus is awesome, with the drumming in particular taking this song to another level. Enjoy this riffy cut, that will make you very excited for the return of live music!

You will be taken to a late 50's/early 60's cafe, as soon as you press play on this new song by the LA based songwriter. It feels classic, with its rhythm'n'blues guitars and beautiful harmonies, reminiscent of the early Beatles records. Melody wise, it stays true to its hook but it is very effective, leaving you to hum and tap your hand on your thigh all the time.
