Bring Me The Music put together 32 of the freshest faces from 2020 to decide who is this years freshest indie act.The pool of acts ranged from typical rock'n'roll, to RnB, synth pop, post punk and stripped back acoustic; all of whom are all incredibly talented musicians that are already making a name of themselves. Enjoy the list of the top 20 acts and and thank you to everyone who got involved and voted!



1) Luna Blue

The band who have our unofficial (is it official now?) anthem! Hailing from Sussex and basing themselves in Brighton, the rock pop band are on fire with releasing incredibly fun and summery hits! Their knack for a catchy riff and making us sway our hands around is undeniable, also their love for collaborating to bring us amazing content is fantastic. Enjoy their bizarre music video for 'Away With You' and it to be one of your fav indie songs for every summer!




2) Cruel Hearts Club

The most bad arse band around and wow are they are onto something! Gita, Gabie and Edie are nailing it with their edgy pop punk sound but enriching it for it to be stadium rock ready. Cruel Hearts Club spirit is both empowering and fun, making them one of the most sort out new bands in the country.




3) The Covasettes

You want to listen to the coolest and most swaggering indie band around now? Well, listen to this! The strutting nature how these boys deliver their music is highly impressive and may leave you hot under the collar, it makes you remember why rock'n'roll can still bring the heat! If you want something to feel fresh




4) Ocean Flaws

What a dream of a sound the Essex boys make, ay! Ocean Flaws will send you sailing away to a night filled with coloured lights and undeniable groove. It seems like the four piece are entering a time where they are really about to make strides and somehow giving us even more catchy tunes.




5) The Spaces

Kent bound here and the battle of Medway was won by the The Spaces. If you want something rough but catchy and epic, then this three piece band are for you.




6) Ocean Flatts

Wowwww it was intense but the five piece of Medway, finish strong and well deserved. Their post punk, brit pop sound is a great combination that are nailing. With an EP out any day now, Ocean Flatts are riding high.




7) Shake The Geek

The essence of this great sounding band, is filled with such drive and sensation. The music already feels worthy of stadiums, who isn't excited about this band?!




8) The Roly Mo

The Glaswegian indie band released their debut EP, 'Trm', which was an incredible hoot. The band have a great sense of songwriting which Im sure will take them somewhere special.




9) 45acidbabies

Post-punk electro pop band from Netherlands, well where to begin with how fun and electric these guys are?




10) Pizza Crunch

Ahhhh it only be but a few who will not enjoy this band. So cool, so catchy and again let me say, catchy and cool!
